    Parc Natural del Garraf

Parc Natural del Garraf is a nature lover’s Heaven; a rugged, rocky landscape right next to beautiful, Sitges, Spain. Truly a wonder to behold, the eastern end of El Garraf has a reddish sandstone strip that contrasts with the plain surrounding, Olèrdola. Stroll through the vineyards and look up to the peak of La Morella, the highest peak in El Garraf at 594 meters.

Annular summits, deep crevices, and steep slopes of grey-white rock define the landscape of El Garraf and Olèrdola. Calcareous rock has carved sinkholes, caves, and cavities into both ranges which are distinctively Mediterranean. Its coastal location means torrential rains are the norm with mild temperatures in spring and autumn.

The weather has certainly defined and beautified the terrain. Animals like the horseshoe whip snake, black wheatear, black-eared wheatear, and beech marten thrive in such conditions. Experience all that is amazing about this unique coast when you visit Sitges.
